Great River Road Trip & La Crosse Queen 3 Hour Cruise with Lunch
Time & Location
About The Event
The Great River Road was originally Route 35 and was built in 1918. Prior to that time it was known as Trail 35 and was mostly a wagon trail that followed an old Native-American trail along the Mississippi River. For our trip, we will take it up to La Crosse to experience a three hour river boat cruise on one of the most scenic stretches of the upper Mississippi River. Sit back and enjoy our narrated tour as we point out wildlife and historical points of interest. Our river cruise includes one of the oldest railroad swing bridges still in operation today. For a very special experience we will "lock thru" Lock and Dam #7, weather conditions permitting. A tasty double entree meal is served buffet-style for your enjoyment.
